The Boyne Arms Cottage

The Boyne Arms Cottage is in Burwarton, right next to the pub of the same name. It's our place. The cottage is detached, so it's just you. There's a private courtyard garden out the back.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms upstairs, one bathroom downstairs. It's a 4 Star, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. The bathroom being on the ground floor is handy. We can put a stairgate at the bottom if you need it.

The Boyne Arms pub is literally next door, about ten yards from your front door. We run it. It's been done up and does good food. You can book one of the garden pods if you like. Check our website for the opening times.

You're at the bottom of Brown Clee Hill here, which is the highest point in Shropshire. The walk up Clee Burf is a good one, starts from the village. For a longer day out, Mortimer Forest is about twenty minutes' drive, near Ludlow.

Ludlow is fifteen minutes away. The castle is there and the town has decent shops and markets. Bridgnorth and its cliff railway is about twenty minutes north. Ironbridge, for the museums, is maybe half an hour. Shrewsbury is about forty minutes if you want a bigger town.

Facilities: it's got a woodburner, WiFi, a TV, a washing machine, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. It's wheelchair accessible to get in, but the bathroom is downstairs and the bedrooms are up, so bear that in mind. We take up to two dogs.
