The Boyne Arms Cottage
The Boyne Arms Cottage is in Burwarton. It’s detached, right next door to The Boyne Arms pub. We own the pub and did it up a couple of years ago.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. One bathroom. It’s got a 4 Star rating, so it’s comfortable and warm. Everything is included, bedding, towels, electricity.
The private courtyard is out the back. It’s a proper sun trap in the afternoon, good for sitting out with a drink.
The pub is about ten yards from the front door. They do good food, you can check their website for the menu and times. They’ve got a beer garden with some private pods now, which you can use.
Burwarton is at the bottom of Brown Clee Hill, which is the highest hill in Shropshire. There are walks right from the door, up Clee Burf or onto the hill if you’re feeling energetic.
It’s a good spot for getting about. Ludlow is about twenty minutes by car. That’s got the castle and good food shops. Bridgnorth is handy too. Ironbridge and Shrewsbury are probably half an hour away.
For facilities, everything’s there. Washing machine, wi-fi, TV. There’s a cot, highchair and a stairgate. It’s wheelchair accessible at the entrance. Parking is on site. You can bring two dogs.
