The Granary
The Granary is in Clee St Margaret, which is right on the edge of the Shropshire Hills. It's a detached place, next to our house, but you've got your own parking and patio. It's a former granary, so the living space is upstairs.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-kept. There are steep external steps up to the front door, because it's the old granary door. Inside, the stairs to the living room are a standard flight.
It's very quiet here. The view from upstairs is over our field. There's a small patio with a table and chairs if you want to sit outside.
You're about twenty minutes' drive from Ludlow. That's the big one for food and markets. Shrewsbury is a bit further, maybe half an hour. Ironbridge is about the same.
For walking, you're basically in the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The Stiperstones and the Long Mynd are both close. For a different sort of day out, the Ironbridge Gorge Museums are good. The Shropshire Hills AONB site has walking routes.
What's here: WiFi, a shower, all bedding and towels are included. There's bicycle storage if you need it. Electricity is included. No pets, I'm afraid.
