Cow Shed is out at Bitterley, near Clee Hill. It's a detached barn conversion on a working farm. It's single-storey, so everything's on the ground floor. That's good for accessibility.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a kitchen, dining area, and a sitting area all together. The ceiling is high and vaulted with beams. There are two bedrooms and they both have their own bathrooms. One of them is a wet room.
It's quiet here. You get views out over the fields. Being on a farm, you'll see animals around. It's not a petting zoo, it's a proper working farm, so there might be some mud depending on the weather.
You're a couple of miles from the nearest shops and pubs, so you'll want a car. Ludlow is about four miles away. That's where you'll find most things: good food shops, restaurants, the castle.
For walking, you're right at the bottom of Clee Hill. There are footpaths from the farm itself, so you can get straight out into the countryside. Further afield, you've got the whole Shropshire Hills area. The Shropshire Hills National Landscape website is useful for planning. Worcester, Bewdley and Shrewsbury are all within about an hour's drive.
The place has a 5 Star rating. That means it's well-equipped and in good order. It has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and an enclosed garden. There's parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. No pets.
