Angel Barn is in Farden, up on Clee Hill. It's a detached stone barn in the grounds of our house. The views are out over the Shropshire countryside. It's quiet.
It's just for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's a cosy space, especially with the wood burner going. There's a patio and garden area for you to use.
The kitchenette has what you need for a short stay. There's a washing machine, TV, and bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. There's parking right there.
You're down a track, so it feels quite separate. The shop and the local pubs are about a mile and a half away in Cleehill village. They do food. For more choice, Ludlow is about a 20-minute drive.
Ludlow is the main town here. It's got the castle, the market, and some very good places to eat. The Food Festival is in September if that's your thing.
From the barn, you can walk straight onto the public footpaths. It's good walking country. For a drive, you can get to places like Ironbridge, Bridgnorth, or Stokesay Castle within about half an hour.
