Angel Barn is in Farden, on the slopes of Clee Hill in Shropshire. It’s a detached stone barn conversion, so it’s completely on its own. The owners live on the same grounds but you have your own space.
It sleeps two people, with one bedroom and one bathroom. It’s got a 4 Star rating. It's cosy and comfortable. The main thing is the view, which looks out over fields and countryside. It’s very quiet.
It’s in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, so walking is the main activity here. Public footpaths start right from the property. If you have a bike, there’s storage for it.
Ludlow is a few miles away. It’s a nice market town with a castle, on the River Teme. They have a famous Food Festival in September, but it's good for shops and places to eat any time of year.
Within about a 30 minute drive you can get to places like Tenbury Wells, Leominster, Bridgnorth, and Ironbridge. Stokesay Castle is close by too.
For facilities, it has a woodburning stove for cooler evenings, a TV, a washing machine, and your own patio garden. Bedding and towels are included, and there's parking right there. One well-behaved dog is allowed.
