The Knowle
The Knowle is in Knowlesands, just outside Bridgnorth. It's a big old house, Grade II listed, part Georgian, part Victorian. It's attached to another house, but it's all yours. The garden is about three quarters of an acre. It slopes down and has a good view over the River Severn. There's a big barbecue area and some swings and things for kids.
It sleeps fourteen people in seven bedrooms. There are four bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. The rooms are all a decent size, which is good for a big group. There's a room with a full-size snooker table. The WiFi works.
You can walk into Bridgnorth in about twenty minutes. It's less than a mile. Plenty of shops, pubs, and places to eat there. The River Severn is right there for a walk. The local attractions are close. The Severn Valley Railway is a big one. So is the Ironbridge Gorge Museums and Blists Hill. The Cliff Railway in Bridgnorth is worth a trip.
For days out, you're well placed. Attingham Park is about half an hour's drive. So is the Shropshire Hills area if you want proper walking or cycling. There's a golf course nearby.
Facilities: everything you'd expect is there. Washing machine, dishwasher, TV, bedding and towels included. There's parking for several cars. An electric vehicle charger is installed. We allow one well-behaved dog.
