The Knowle
The Knowle is a big old house in Knowlesands, just outside Bridgnorth. It's Grade II listed, part Georgian, part Victorian. The house is attached to another property on one side. You can't see that from most of the garden though. It overlooks the River Severn and the countryside.
It sleeps fourteen, which is a lot. Seven bedrooms, four bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's a big, practical house for a big group or a family get-together. The rooms are large. There's a games room with a full-size snooker table.
The garden is about three quarters of an acre. There's a good barbecue area, a swing and a climbing frame for kids. There's also an electric vehicle charger.
The local pub and restaurant is about a two minute walk down the road. Bridgnorth town centre is under a mile away. You can walk along the river into town if you want. The Severn Valley Railway is there, and the Cliff Railway. The station for the steam trains is about a mile away.
For a day out, Ironbridge Gorge and Blists Hill Victorian Town are about a fifteen minute drive. There's good walking and cycling from the door, or you can drive into the Shropshire Hills. A local golf course is two miles away.
What's here: all bedding and towels are included. There's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, TV, cot and highchair. Parking is on site. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
