Astbury Falls Luxury Retreat
Astbury Falls is near Upper Forge, just outside Bridgnorth in Shropshire. It's a single-storey lodge, detached, so you won't have neighbours through the wall.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms. Both have their own shower room. The main room is all open plan, kitchen, dining and living area together. There are patio doors out to a decked balcony. It's wheelchair friendly and everything is on the same level.
It's quiet here. You're in the countryside, so you get fields and trees. The lodge is made of redwood. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped.
Bridgnorth is about a ten minute drive. It's a good little town with shops, pubs, and places to eat. The Severn Valley Railway runs from there if you like steam trains. Ironbridge and its museums are about half an hour away.
For walking, you've got the Shropshire Hills on your doorstep. The Mortimer Trail and Clee Hill are close by. If you want a stately home, Attingham Park is nearby. For more ideas, Shropshire's Great Outdoors is useful.
