It's called Ladymoor and it's a big old sandstone house from the 17th century. Stanley, in Shropshire. It's on its own, right by the River Severn. You get good views from the windows and the garden.
Sleeps fifteen, which is a lot. Six bedrooms and four bathrooms. It has a 4 Star rating. The garden is lawned and enclosed. There's parking.
The main thing is the location. You're right on the riverbank. The Severn Way footpath goes past the front. If you're into fishing, the stretch here is supposed to be very good for barbel. There are day ticket spots nearby.
Also, you're about fifty yards from Highley station on the Severn Valley Railway. Steam trains go past the back garden. You can hear them, which is nice if you like that sort of thing. You can get a steam train down to Bridgnorth or up to Kidderminster. The Engine House Museum is right there at the station. There's a country park just up the track.
There's a pub about five hundred yards away. Shop is a bit further, maybe three quarters of a mile.
For things to do: West Midlands Safari Park is about fifteen minutes by car. Astbury golf course is five minutes away. You're well placed for Bridgnorth, Bewdley, Ironbridge, Ludlow, and Wenlock Edge. All within half an hour to an hour's drive.
Inside, it's got a games room. There's a woodburning stove, a dishwasher, washing machine. WiFi and TV. We include bedding and towels. You can bring up to three dogs. There's a cot and highchair if needed.
