Pear Tree Cottage is in Lem Hill, Worcester. It's a bungalow, so everything's on one level which is handy. It used to be the coach house and stables for the big house, which is now a working farm next door. You'll see tractors about.
It sleeps four in two bedrooms, and it has two bathrooms, one with a shower, one with a bath. The place is clean and modern inside. The rating is 4 Star.
You get the garden to yourselves, it's enclosed and looks out over the Wyre Forest. The views are good, especially for sunsets.
The local pub is a mile down the road, they do food. The nearest shop for basics is two miles. For a bigger shop, you'd go into Bewdley.
Bewdley's nice. It's on the river Severn and has some good walks. Ludlow is about half an hour away for food and the castle. Bridgnorth is similar. The Wyre Forest itself is on your doorstep for walking. It's an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
There's fishing and a golf course within five miles. If you want to drive further, Stratford-upon-Avon and the edge of the Cotswolds are about 45 minutes.
For facilities: there's parking, wifi, a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. We've got a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry.
