Stildon Manor Cottage is one of the old farm buildings for the manor, but it's detached now. It's in Menithwood, which is countryside near the Shropshire and Herefordshire borders. You've got your own courtyard, which is walled and quite big.
It sleeps five people in three bedrooms, with one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's clean and well looked after, but it's a converted farm building so the rooms are a good size. The owners have about 115 acres of land you can walk on. There's also a separate games room in the yard with a pool table and darts.
The shop and post office is in Pensax, about a mile and a half away. It's a proper village shop, it sells the basics. The nearest pub is about the same distance.
You're well placed for getting out. The Wyre Forest is close for walking. The Severn Valley Railway is about a 20 minute drive, and the West Midland Safari ParkWitley Court is just down the road in Great Witley, the ruins are massive and the fountains are impressive.
Facilities are all there: the wood burner, WiFi, TV, washing machine, cot and highchair if needed. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog. There's parking right outside.
