The Archway is in Newnham Bridge. It's not a free-standing cottage, it's part of a big old Georgian house. Your bit is a ground-floor flat with its own front door.
It sleeps two. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-kept. Because it's in a listed building, some things are a bit unusual. The entrance is through a stone archway, which is where the name comes from. The ceilings are high. The main window looks out over fields and hills.
You have a private patio area with a table and chairs. There's a bigger shared courtyard and, if it's not being used for something else, you can sometimes use a bit of the lawn. The owners live on site, so they're around if you need anything.
Tenbury Wells is about seven minutes by car. It's got shops, a supermarket, and a few pubs that do food. Ludlow is under half an hour away. Good for a wander and something to eat. The Severn Valley Railway is popular. You can get on at Bewdley.
Worcester and Hereford are both about half an hour's drive if you want a cathedral or a bigger town. The West Midlands Safari Park is about 25 minutes away. For walking, you're near the Mortimer Forest and the Shropshire Hills.
Facilities: there's Wi-Fi, a TV, parking right outside, and all the bedding and towels are provided. You can bring one dog. There's a shower, no bath.
