Courtyard Retreat is a ground floor flat on the edge of Tenbury Wells. It's part of a larger house, which is set in a private, gated garden. You get your own patio area. The flat itself has just been done up, so it's fresh and clean. It sleeps four people in two bedrooms, with one bathroom.
It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable and well put together. They've used nice paints and kept the original wooden floors. The ceilings are high, which gives it a good feel. There's an original open fireplace too, which works.
Because it's all on the ground floor and has a wheelchair-accessible entrance, it's good for anyone who doesn't want to deal with stairs. You can park right outside.
The flat has everything you'd need: a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
Tenbury Wells itself is a small market town alongside the River Teme. There are a few shops, cafes, and a pub about a five-minute walk away. For a bigger day out, Ludlow is about a twenty-minute drive. It's famous for food and has a proper castle too.
If you like walking, you're in a good spot. There are country walks all along the Teme Valley here. For something steeper with big views, Titterstone Clee Hill is about a fifteen-minute drive away.
For historic houses, you've got Berrington Hall and Croft Castle nearby, both run by the National Trust. The cathedral cities of Worcester, Hereford, and Gloucester are all within an hour's drive if you fancy that.
Other than that, there's local fishing and horse riding if you're interested. The owners have put a cot and a highchair in there if you need them.
