Howards End is in Middleton on the Hill, in Herefordshire. It’s a detached barn conversion, set next to our house. It gets its own enclosed garden.
It sleeps six. There are two bedrooms upstairs and one bathroom downstairs. It’s got a 4 Star rating. It’s comfortable and clean.
The stairs are wooden and fairly steep, so you need to be careful. If you have small children, there’s a stairgate and a cot if you need them.
You’ve got a dishwasher and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There’s parking right there.
The nearest shop is about four miles away, in Leominster. There’s a pub a mile and a half down the road.
If you want to go out, you’re in a good spot. Leominster’s known for antiques. Ludlow is about 20 minutes and has good food. Tenbury Wells is the same distance, it’s a small town with an old cinema. You can find details on places like National Trust Midlands.
The countryside around here is good for walking. There are several golf courses nearby. The Clee Hills and the Stretton Hills are within a 40 minute drive if you want proper hills.
