The Lodge is in Kimbolton, outside Leominster in Herefordshire. It's a detached building in the grounds of our house, Forbury Cottage. You've got your own space.
It's for two people. One bedroom with a kingsize bed, one shower room. It's all on the ground floor. It has a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped. Everything is open plan: kitchen, dining area, and sitting area together. Patio doors open straight out to your garden.
The garden is enclosed, with a patio and furniture. You're also welcome to use the big paddock next to it. It's a good spot for a picnic or just to sit.
It's quiet and rural. The nearest pub is about a mile away in Kimbolton.
Leominster is three miles away for shops. Ludlow is about ten miles, which is good for a day out. Hereford is a bit further, maybe twenty-five minutes by car. The cathedral and the Mappa Mundi are there.
For walking, you've got the Black and White Village trail locally. The Offa's Dyke path is on the Welsh border, about a twenty minute drive. There are a few National Trust places within half an hour: Berrington Hall, Croft Castle, and Brockhampton Estate.
It has wifi, a Smart TV, a washing machine, and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. No pets, sorry.
