Ellinor House is on the main street in Cleobury Mortimer. It's a tall Georgian terrace, painted white. You can see the hills from the upstairs windows.
It sleeps eight, across four floors. There are four bedrooms and three bathrooms, which helps with a big group. It's a 4 Star place, so it's comfortable and well looked after. Just a note, the stairs are the original ones. They're fine, but they're quite steep and there are a lot of them.
You're right in the middle of town. The front door opens onto the pavement. There are several pubs, a couple of restaurants, and a really good butchers and grocers all within a minute's walk. Out the back, there's a small, walled garden. It's quiet there, a proper sun-trap in the afternoon.
For a day out, Ludlow is about twenty minutes by car. The castle and the food market are worth the trip. Bewdley is a similar distance, with the Severn Valley Railway and the West Midlands Safari Park. If you want to walk, Clee Hill is just to the south. The view from the top is excellent. For a longer challenge, the Offa's Dyke Path isn't far over the Welsh border.
There are lots of black and white villages around. We like Eardisland and Pembridge, which are over towards Hereford. Hereford and Worcester cities are both about forty minutes away if you need a bigger museum or cathedral visit.
For facilities: it has a woodburning stove, a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and TV. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot. We accept up to two well-behaved dogs.
