Sporting Heights

This is Sporting Heights. It's a big house near a place called Beach Hay, which is out in the Worcestershire countryside.

It sleeps a lot of people, up to 24. There are nine bedrooms and eight bathrooms. It's got a 3 Star rating, which tells you it's a comfortable, spacious place for a group rather than a luxury hotel. It's detached, so you've got your own space.

The house is set in its own grounds. There's a big garden and a patio area. At the bottom of the garden, there are a couple of fish pools. You can feed the fish in the one that's just for the house. There's a climbing frame for kids and a games room inside.

The stairs are normal. The kitchen is big, with a dishwasher and a washing machine. There's a woodburning stove in the living room. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring dogs, up to three.

You're on the edge of a few counties here. Ludlow, Bridgnorth, and Kidderminster are all within about a 25 minute drive. The nearest proper shop is a mile and a half away. The closest pub and restaurant are about two miles.

If you want to go out, you've got options. The National Trust has some places nearby like Kinver Edge. The Severn Valley Railway is worth a look if you like steam trains. For a day out, West Midlands Safari Park is about half an hour's drive, or you can walk in the Wyre Forest.
