No. 1 Ash Cottage

This is No. 1 Ash Cottage in Six Ashes. It's one of a pair of cottages we renovated from an old barn a few years ago. It's right next to a country pub, The Six Ashes Inn, which is about fifty yards away. They do food.

The cottage sleeps three. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean but not over the top. The layout is open plan downstairs.

You've got your own patio and garden area. Parking is right there on site. There's a TV and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We allow one well-behaved dog.

It's very rural here. The nearest shop is a couple of miles away in Bridgnorth, so you'll likely need a car. Bridgnorth is about six miles. It's a proper old town split into a High Town and a Low Town, connected by a cliff railway. The views are good. The Severn Valley Railway starts there too.

Within half an hour you can get to a lot of the main things around here. Ironbridge Gorge is a big one for history. There's also Attingham Park and Dudmaston Hall if you like National Trust places. For walking, you've got the Long Mynd, Wenlock Edge, and the Shropshire Hills. RAF Cosford has a good museum.

No. 2 Ash Cottage is next door. The two can be booked together if you're a bigger group.
