Apple Tree Lodge
Apple Tree Lodge is in Onibury, near Ludlow. It's a single-storey converted lodge, L-shaped, so it's all on one level. That's handy if you don't want stairs.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and a bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The main room is open plan. Kitchen at one end, then a big dining table, then the living area with a wood burner. It's a good space. Outside, there's a small enclosed paddock with picnic benches. You can sit out there with a coffee. There's also a hard tennis court on the grounds, so you can bring rackets if you like.
You're on the edge of a big estate, about 2000 acres. You're welcome to walk around it. It's proper countryside.
There's a local bar and bistro you can walk to. Ludlow is famous for food and its market, and it's only a few minutes away by car. It's a good base for exploring.
For facilities, it's got what you'd expect: parking, WiFi, TV, wood burner. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs.
