Grove Sprightly Barn is on a lane just outside Upper Dinchope, near Craven Arms. It's a detached stone barn conversion. You get the place and the garden to yourselves. It's quiet here, just fields and the odd tractor going past.
The barn sleeps twelve. There are six bedrooms and three bathrooms. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean but not luxury. It's a barn, so the ceilings are high and the rooms are big. The main living area is all one space, which is good for a group.
You're a couple of miles from the nearest shop and pub. The roads are narrow, so just be ready for that. For a bigger shop, Craven Arms is about four miles. Ludlow is roughly fifteen minutes by car. It's got the castle, the market, and plenty of places to eat. It's a nice place to spend a day.
You're right on the edge of the Shropshire Hills. Good walking from the door. Offa's Dyke path is close by. The Long Mynd and Stiperstones are a short drive for more serious hikes. Bishops Castle is a nice little town to poke around.
If you want to go further, Shrewsbury is about half an hour. Ironbridge is around forty minutes if you're interested in the museums there.
What's here: there's a woodburning stove, a dishwasher, a washing machine, WiFi, and parking for a few cars. Bedding is included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. No pets, sorry.
