This is Burrills View in Horderley, Shropshire. It's a stone cottage, detached. You're right on the edge of an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. It's quiet, but you're not cut off. The A49 is a few minutes away for getting about.
It sleeps six people. Three bedrooms, and each has its own bathroom, which is handy. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well looked after.
Out the back there's a private patio with a six-seater hot tub. You get that to yourselves. Across the road there's a field we own that runs down to the River Onny. You're welcome to go down there. Some people try a bit of fishing.
For walking, you can step straight onto the Onny Trail. That links to the Shropshire Way and the Jack Mytton Way. You can get up onto the Long Mynd from here. The Shropshire Hills website has good maps.
Ludlow is the main town nearby, about ten miles. It's known for the castle and the food. There's a market. Church Stretton is closer, at the foot of the Long Mynd. Carding Mill Valley is there for walks and the gliding centre is up on the hill.
You can get to a few National Trust places within an hour. Attingham Park, Berrington Hall, and Powis Castle over the border in Wales are the main ones.
In terms of what's here: there's a wood burner, a dishwasher, WiFi, a TV, and parking for a couple of cars. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. You can bring up to two dogs.
The local pub is about a mile away. The nearest shop is in Craven Arms, which is a mile and a half.
