Burrills View is a stone cottage, detached so no one's on the other side of the wall. It's in Horderley, on the Shropshire border, near the Welsh Marches. It's in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
It sleeps six, has three bedrooms and three bathrooms. There's a hot tub on a private patio for you to use. The rating is 4 Star, which means it's modern and comfortable.
The field opposite belongs to us. The River Onny is along the bottom of it. You're welcome to relax there or try some fishing.
For walks, you can get straight onto the Onny Trail. That links to the Shropshire Way and the Jack Mytton Way. You can walk up Wart Hill or Hopesay Hill from the door.
Carding Mill Valley and the Glider Centre on the Long Mynd are about a 10 minute drive. Shrewsbury is half an hour away by car. Ludlow is about 20 minutes away, it has the castle and the big food festival. The racecourse is there too.
If you want activities for kids or a group, the Edge in Much Wenlock does quad biking and shooting. Condover activity centre has high ropes and kayaking. Acton Scott is a working historic farm you can visit.
A bit further afield, within 30-40 minutes, there's Stokesay Castle, the Severn Valley Railway at Bridgnorth, and the museums at Ironbridge. For National Trust places, there's Attingham Park near Shrewsbury, and Powis Castle just over the border in Wales.
The facilities are what you'd expect. Washing machine, dishwasher, woodburning stove. WiFi and TV. We can provide a cot and highchair. There's bike storage. You can bring two dogs.
