Wheelwright Cottage

Wheelwright Cottage is in Little Brampton, which is just outside Church Stretton. It's part of a converted farm building. You get your own patio and the hot tub is out there just for your use. The main garden is shared with one other cottage, but it's large so it's not an issue.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. One is ensuite. The 4 Star rating means it's been nicely done up and is comfortable. It's mostly open plan downstairs.

It's a rural spot, so you'll need a car. The owners live on site and have a pottery studio. They offer a free hour's lesson if you fancy it, and they can post your finished piece on to you afterwards.

There are plenty of walks straight from the door into the Shropshire hills. A good local pub is about a mile and a half away.

Church Stretton is five minutes by car. They've got shops, a Co-op, and a few cafes. Ludlow is about twenty minutes away. Good for food, the castle, and just mooching about. Stokesay Castle is nearby too.

Further out, you've got Shrewsbury, Hereford, and Ironbridge all within about forty-five minutes. The Long Mynd and Carding Mill Valley are right on the doorstep for walks.

Facilities: there's parking, a washing machine, a dishwasher, and a games room in a shared outbuilding. Bedding and towels are included. We take one well-behaved dog. The entrance is step-free.
