Mashers Barn
This is Mashers Barn. It's in Chapel Lawn, which is a small spot in the hills between Clun and Bucknell in Shropshire. It's a converted barn, detached, so you've got it to yourselves.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and they each have their own bathroom. There's a wood burner in the main living area and that space is open plan. The kitchen has a dishwasher and a washing machine.
Outside, there's a patio that gets the sun and a bigger lawned garden. We've left a barbecue there. There's parking and a place to store bicycles if you bring them.
The nearest pub that does food is about three and a half miles away, in Bucknell. It's a good one. For a shop, you'd go to Clun, which is four miles.
Clun itself has a castle ruin you can walk up to. Ludlow is about a half hour drive. That's the main town around here, with a proper castle, the market, and a lot of good food shops and restaurants. The countryside here is good for walking. You're right on the edge of the Shropshire Hills.
We allow up to two dogs. Bedding and towels are provided. It's got a 4 Star rating, which reflects that it's well-finished and comfortable.
