This is Lower Goytre Farmhouse. It's near the town of Knighton, in a place called Lloyney. It's a 300 year old house on our working farm. You'll see sheep and ponies in the fields.
There are four bedrooms and it sleeps seven. One bathroom. It's a 4 Star place, which means it's comfortable. The garden is enclosed. You can sit out the front and look at the views.
You're right on the farm, so you'll see us about. There are public footpaths that start from the yard gate. You can walk for miles straight from the door. Knighton is a ten minute drive. It's a border town, so part's in Wales and part's in England. There are a few shops, pubs, and takeaways there.
You're close to Offa's Dyke Path here. Knighton has the Offa's Dyke Centre. For a good day out, Ludlow is about half an hour's drive. Church Stretton and the Long Mynd are also within half an hour. Welshpool, with the castle and steam railway, is about forty minutes.
The house has a wood burner, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. All bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. You can bring one dog. The entrance is wheelchair accessible, but you should be aware the house is old, so there are steps inside and the doorways aren't all standard width.
