Lodge 2
This is Lodge 2. It's one of three places built together here, on the edge of Llangunllo. It's very quiet.
It's a detached lodge and sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and finished to a good standard. Everything's on one level, so no stairs.
You get your own patio and garden area, and a private hot tub. The place sits in about two acres of grounds. There's an old mill race running through the land, so there's a damp area that can be wet or dry depending on the rain.
The local pub is a few minutes' walk, about 250 yards. It serves food. The nearest shop is in Knighton, which is about seven miles by car.
Knighton is the main town nearby. It's right on the English-Welsh border on Offa's Dyke. From there, you're within half an hour of a fair bit. The Elan Valley and Powis Castle are in Wales. Over the border in Shropshire, you've got places like Ludlow, Stokesay Castle, and Acton Scott farm.
What's included: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and bedding and towels are provided. You can bring up to two dogs. Parking is right outside.
