Hill View Lodge is in Heyope, just outside Knighton in Mid Wales. It’s a detached bungalow, so everything’s on one level. You have your own drive and a big garden that looks out over fields.
It sleeps four in three bedrooms. There’s a king-size room and two single rooms. Two shower rooms, one downstairs and one up. It’s a 4 Star, so it’s comfortable and well-equipped.
The main thing inside is the games room with a pool table. The living room has a wood burner. The kitchen has a dishwasher and there’s a utility room for boots and coats. Outside, there’s a covered hot tub on the patio, a barbecue, and that big lawned garden.
Knighton is the nearest town, about two miles away. It’s a proper border town, partly in Wales and partly in England. It’s got shops, pubs, and cafes. It’s the main place for the Offa's Dyke Path, which runs right through it. The Offa's Dyke Centre there is good if you’re into walking or history.
You’re well placed for day trips. Ludlow is about half an hour’s drive for the food market and castle. The Shropshire Hills are about 25 minutes away. Further afield, you’ve got places like Ironbridge or Welshpool within an hour.
In terms of facilities, bedding and towels are included. There’s a cot and a highchair if you need them. Plenty of parking. No pets, sorry.
