Red Kite Cottage
This is Red Kite Cottage in Heyope. It's a detached cottage on a small site with a few others. You get your own garden and a private hot tub on the patio. The view is over fields.
It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and modern inside. Everything's on one level, so there are no stairs to worry about.
You're allowed one well-behaved dog. The garden is enclosed.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings, a dishwasher, washing machine, and wifi. We provide bedding and towels. A travel cot and highchair are there if you need them.
Heyope is very rural. The nearest shop is about five miles away in Knighton. There's a pub and restaurant a couple of miles down the road. Knighton is a proper border town, partly in Wales and partly in England. It's got a few shops, cafes and pubs. It's also on Offa's Dyke Path, so it's popular with walkers.
If you want to get out, you're well placed for the Shropshire Hills and mid Wales. The Offa's Dyke Path is right there. Ludlow is about half an hour's drive for the market and the castle. Church Stretton and the Long Mynd are a similar distance. Further afield, you could get to places like Ironbridge or Welshpool within an hour.
