Heyope Cottage is one of a few cottages on a small site here in Heyope. It's detached. You've got your own garden, which is enclosed, and a private hot tub on the patio.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. There's a wood burning stove, which is nice in the cooler months. The living space is open plan.
The property is all on the ground floor, so no stairs to worry about. Facilities are what you'd expect: wifi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right there. You can bring one dog.
You're about two miles from a pub that does food. The nearest shop for basics is in Knighton, which is about five minutes' drive.
Knighton is a proper border town, partly in Wales and partly in England. It's a good base. You're right on the Offa's Dyke Path here. The Glyndwr's Way is nearby too if you're walking.
Within about half an hour you can get to quite a few places. Ludlow is that way, for the food and the castle. Church Stretton and the Long Mynd are good for a hike. Over into Wales, Welshpool has the Powis Castle and Garden which is worth the trip.
