Lodge 3 Llangunllo

It's Lodge 3, one of a group of three lodges we have here. They're detached, so you've got your own space, but there are neighbours either side if you're in a group. They're set back in about two acres of shared ground. It's very quiet.

It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, each with its own bathroom, which is handy. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and finished to a good standard. Everything's on one level, so no stairs to worry about.

You can see the stream from the lodge. There's an old mill race on the land too. It can be damp underfoot there if it's been wet, so boots are a good idea.

The Sun Inn is about a five minute walk down the lane. They do food. The nearest shop for basics is in Knighton, which is about seven miles away.

You're right on the border here. Knighton is the main town, partly in Wales and partly in Shropshire. It's on Offa's Dyke Path, so the walking is excellent from the doorstep. Within half an hour you can get to quite a lot. In Wales, there's the red kite feeding centre at Gigrin Farm, or the Elan Valley reservoirs. In Shropshire, places like Ludlow Castle or Stokesay Castle are easy to get to.

For facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, TV, and your own patio with a BBQ. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring two dogs. Parking is right outside.
