Garden Lodge
This is Garden Lodge in Lloyney. It's a detached little place, for two people. One bedroom, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.
It's on one level, all open plan, so it's straightforward. You can drive right up to it and park outside the door. There's a washing machine, and the bedding and towels are in there for you. You can bring one dog.
The location is quiet. It's set in fields at the end of a track. There's a pub you can walk to in about ten minutes. The closest shop is about three miles away in Knighton.
If you like walking, it's very good for that. You can get straight onto paths from the property. We've written down a few local walks you can do. The area is right by Offa's Dyke and the Mortimer Trail. Knighton has the Offa's Dyke Centre which is worth a look.
Knighton is about a ten minute drive. It's a small town with a few shops and places to eat. Ludlow is about half an hour away, that's where the castle and the good food market is. For a longer day out, you can get to the Elan Valley or the Shropshire Hills within 30 minutes.
