Canon's Cottage Clun

Canon's Cottage is in the middle of Clun village. It's on a quiet side street, but the front door opens right onto the pavement. That's just how it is here.

It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating, so it's comfortable and clean. Nothing too fancy.

The main thing about the sitting room is the big fireplace. It's got a wood burner in it. There's a conservatory too, which leads out to your own bit of patio and garden at the back. The garden is enclosed, so it's fine for a dog.

You're about a minute's walk from two pubs. Both do food. There's a very good cafe here called The Maltings. A couple of small shops sell local bits and pieces.

You can walk straight from the door. There are paths around the village and down to the river. For longer walks, the Stiperstones, Clee Hills and Wenlock Edge are all a short drive away. This is Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.

Ludlow and Shrewsbury are both about half an hour's drive. They're good for a proper day out, with shops and restaurants. Ironbridge is a bit further. For National Trust places, Croft Castle, Powis Castle and Berrington Hall are all within reach.

What's here: there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV. Bedding and towels are included. Electricity is too. You can bring one dog. There's parking on the street outside.
