Canon's Cottage
Canon's Cottage is in Clun. It's a two-bedroom cottage, sleeps four.
The front door is on a quiet street, but it opens straight onto the pavement. You can park on the street outside. The garden is private, out the back through the conservatory. There's also access through the neighbour's garden, but you don't have to use it if you don't want to.
Inside, there's a wood burner in a big inglenook fireplace in the main room. The stairs are typical for a cottage. They're there, they work, just mind your head in a couple of places.
It's got a 3 Star rating. It's clean and comfortable. There's a washing machine and a dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
You're right in the village. There are two pubs and a good cafe, the Maltings, just a short walk away. You can also walk down to the river from the door.
For longer walks, you're close to the Stiperstones, the Clee Hills, and Wenlock Edge. It's all part of the Shropshire Hills Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty.
Ludlow is about half an hour's drive. Shrewsbury and Ironbridge are within forty minutes or so. If you like National Trust places, Croft Castle, Powis Castle, and Berrington Hall are all within easy reach.
