Oak View Cottage

Oak View Cottage is in Heyope, just outside Knighton. It's detached, so you're not sharing any walls. You get your own enclosed garden and a private hot tub on the patio.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well-equipped, not too fancy.

The cottage is on a small site with a few other similar places. There's a shared games room with a pool table and table tennis, which is handy if the weather turns.

You're right on the border here. Knighton is about two miles away. It's a proper border town, half in Wales and half in England. It's got shops, a few places to eat, and it's the main spot for the Offa's Dyke Path. That's the big walking route. The path runs right through the town.

The Teme Valley is nice for a drive or a walk. If you want to go a bit further, Ludlow is about half an hour's drive. Good for food and the castle. Church Stretton and the Long Mynd are in the other direction, also about half an hour. For a full day out, Shrewsbury or the Ironbridge Gorge museums are just under an hour.

At the cottage, you've got a wood burning stove, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. You can bring one well-behaved dog.
