Lower Farm
Lower Farm is here in Llanfihangel Rhydithon. It's a detached farmhouse, part of a 320-acre working farm. The views from up here are over fields and hills. It's quiet.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's a 4 Star place, which is comfortable. There's a woodburning stove for cooler nights. The garden is enclosed, which is handy.
You're on a farm, so you'll see sheep and hear birds. At night, because there aren't many lights around, you can see a lot of stars.
The village of Bleddfa has a pub, about five miles away. For shops and cafes, you'd go to Llandrindod Wells. That's under ten miles. It's a Victorian spa town. Rhayader is about thirteen miles. From there, you're only a couple of miles from the Elan Valley, which is good for walking and cycling. There's a red kite feeding station there too.
The coast, like Ynyslas Sands or Cardigan Bay for the dolphins, is a drive. You'd plan that as a day trip. Closer by, Radnor Forest has walking and cycling routes with good views.
For facilities: it has WiFi, a dishwasher, washing machine, towels and bedding are included. There's parking. You can bring up to two dogs.
