Lower Farm

This is Lower Farm. It's a detached farmhouse on our working farm in Llanfihangel Rhydithon. It's quiet here, just us and the farm. The views are all fields and hills.

It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There are two bathrooms. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's old, so some floors will be a bit uneven. The ceilings are low in a couple of places.

You get your own garden, which is enclosed. There's parking right outside the door. Inside, it's got a woodburner for cooler evenings. There's a dishwasher and washing machine. WiFi is available, but it's a farm, so it's functional, not fast. Bedding and towels are included.

We're on 320 acres, so you'll see sheep and the daily farm routine. You can walk straight out from the door onto the farm tracks.

The nearest proper shops and places to eat are in Llandrindod Wells, which is about nine miles away. It's a Victorian spa town with cafes and a few shops. Rhayader is a bit further, about thirteen miles. They have a decent supermarket. There's a country pub in Bleddfa village, roughly five miles from here.

For days out, the Elan Valley is close by, maybe fifteen miles. It's good for walking and cycling. The red kite feeding station is up there too. The Radnor Forest is nearby for more walking. If you want to go to the coast, it's about an hour's drive to places like Cardigan Bay.

We accept up to two well-behaved dogs. They need to be kept on a lead around the livestock.
