This is Dolview, a bungalow in Penybont, Powys. It's next to our farmhouse, where we live. The view from the back is over our fields. You can see the sheep and sometimes the horses.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both on the ground floor, and one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 5 Star rating, which I think just means it's well equipped and comfortable. Everything's on one level, so no stairs.
The living area is open plan. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings, a dishwasher, and a washing machine. The patio has a hot tub. You get the garden to yourselves, it's enclosed.
You're welcome to bring one dog. We ask that it stays downstairs and off the furniture.
The village of Pen-y-Bont has a shop and a pub that does food. It's about two miles away, so a short drive. Llandrindod Wells is the main town here, about six miles. It's got all the shops you'd need, and the lake is nice for a stroll. There's a golf course about five miles away.
You're well placed for walking. The Elan Valley is spectacular and about a 20-minute drive. Elan Valley has all the route information. For a longer trip, the Brecon Beacons are under 45 minutes by car. The Brecon Beacons website is useful.
Facilities: bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and a highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside. WiFi works fine. There's a BBQ you can use.
