Dolview Penybont

Dolview is a bungalow, attached to our farmhouse here in Penybont. It's on the ground floor, so no stairs to worry about. The views from the back are over our fields. You can see the sheep and sometimes the horses from next door.

It sleeps four. Two bedrooms and one bathroom with a shower. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and comfortable. The living space is all open plan.

There's a hot tub on the patio. It's sheltered and private, and you get the view from there too. The garden is enclosed.

You're welcome to bring one dog. We just ask that you keep it on a lead around the farm animals.

The village is about two miles away. It's got a shop, a pub, and a restaurant. It's a proper local pub. Llandrindod Wells is the nearest town, about a 15-minute drive. It's a Victorian spa town with a nice lake to walk around. There's a golf course five miles from here.

For facilities, it's got pretty much everything: Wi-Fi, TV, a washing machine, dishwasher. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside.

You're in the middle of Wales here, so it's good for walking and getting away from things. The Visit Mid Wales site has general information. For specific walks and historic places, National Trust Wales is useful. The Elan Valley is within half an hour's drive, which is stunning for a day out.
