Ithon Bank Penybont

Ithon Bank is a detached lodge on a working farm near Penybont. It's peaceful, you're just surrounded by fields.

It sleeps six in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom, a shower over the bath. It's a 3 Star place, so it's comfortable and clean but not luxurious. Everything is on the ground floor, which is handy.

You get your own patio and garden. The big thing is the hot tub. It's private, and the view from it is just fields and sky.

You're about five miles from Llandrindod Wells, which is a nice old spa town. Rhayader is also close, about the same distance. They have the red kite feeding station there, which is worth seeing. The Elan Valley reservoirs are the main draw for walking and fishing. It's about a 20 minute drive.

For a day out, Hay-on-Wye is good for bookshops, and Hereford Cathedral with the Mappa Mundi is within half an hour. The coast at Aberdovey is a bit further, maybe an hour and a quarter.

Facilities: there's a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi. Bedding is included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome. There's parking right outside.
