Gwynfan Bungalow is a detached bungalow on the edge of Llanyre village. It's private and quiet. The back looks out over fields towards the Radnor Forest and the Brecon Beacons. It's a dark skies area, so you can see the stars clearly on a good night.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating. It's comfortable and well equipped. Being a bungalow, everything is on one level, so the stairs aren't an issue.
The village has a good pub that does food, about three quarters of a mile away. The nearest proper town is Llandrindod Wells, about a mile and a half. That's where the supermarkets, banks, and things like that are.
You're in a good spot for getting out. The Elan Valley dams are about a 20 minute drive. They're impressive. The Brecon Beacons National Park is about half an hour south. Rhayader is close too, that's where the red kite feeding station is. For a longer day out, Hay-on-Wye is about 40 minutes drive.
In terms of what's here: there's a woodburning stove for cooler evenings, a washing machine, a dishwasher, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. There's a garden with a patio and a BBQ. You can bring up to two dogs. There's parking right outside.
