Sweet Meadow Lodge is on our farm in Crossway, Powys. It's a single storey building, detached. You look out over the valley from there.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's modern and well finished. Everything is on one level.
There are big doors at one end that open right up onto a deck. That faces south, so you get the sun. There's a wood burning stove for cooler evenings. And a hot tub on the deck.
Being a working farm, you'll see sheep and cattle in the fields. Sometimes you'll hear us, or the dogs, going about the day. It's quiet, but it's not silent.
The nearest pub is about two miles away. A shop is four miles. You'll want a car.
You're right on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park for walking. The Elan Valley dams are about a 30 minute drive. Rhayader is a bit closer, and that's where you can see the red kites being fed. Brecon town is 20 minutes or so, with the usual shops and cafes.
For facilities: it has a washing machine, dishwasher, WiFi, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. No pets, I'm afraid.
