River Lodge

River Lodge is on a working farm in Hundred House. It's a detached lodge. You get your own space.

It sleeps six, three bedrooms and two bathrooms. It's a 5 Star property, which means it's in very good order. It's all on one level, which makes it easy to get around. There's a ramp to the front door.

The main room is open plan. The doors open out onto the patio and garden. You look out over fields. There's a hot tub out there.

The local pub is about a five minute walk away. It's a proper village pub. The shop is a few miles away in Builth Wells. You'll drive past it.

You can walk straight from the lodge along the river into the village. Bring your bikes if you want. The farm tracks are good for that.

Builth Wells is about five miles. That's where the Royal Welsh Showground is. The show is usually in July. It gets busy.

Llandrindod Wells is seven miles. It's a spa town. Rhayader and the Elan Valley are about sixteen miles. The dams are impressive. It's good for a drive and a walk. You might see red kites.

For days out further afield, the Brecon Beacons National Park is within half an hour. Hay-on-Wye is about forty minutes, if you like books.

Facilities are all there: wifi, TV, dishwasher, washing machine. Bedding and towels are included. There's a cot and highchair if you need them. Parking is right outside.
