Edw Lodge
Edw Lodge is a wooden cabin on the river. It's detached. It's on a quiet bit of the River Wye, so you hear the water.
It sleeps six. Three bedrooms, two bathrooms. There's a 4 Star rating, which mostly means it's comfortable and well-equipped. The layout is open plan downstairs.
The big thing here is the fishing. You've got the rights to fish from the bank. Salmon, trout, and coarse fishing. It's right there.
There's a private hot tub on the deck. You look out at the river from it.
For walks, you can go straight from the door along the river. There are also quiet lanes. It's on the National Cycle Network, so it's good for road cycling. Mountain biking routes are nearby too.
Builth Wells is about four miles away. That's where the shops are. There’s a leisure centre with a pool, a cinema, and a golf course. The Royal Welsh Showground is five miles away, just outside Builth.
The Brecon Beacons are about a thirty minute drive. The Elan Valley is also half an hour away. Good for walking and seeing red kites. There's a red kite feeding station near Rhayader.
You've got a pub and restaurant a mile up the lane. The nearest shop is four miles.
Inside, there's a dishwasher, washing machine, TV, and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. Cot and highchair are there if you need them. Parking for a couple of cars.
We take up to two dogs. No other pets.
It can be booked next door with Wye Lodge if you're a bigger group.
