Woodland Lodge is in Hundred House, out near Builth Wells. It's a detached lodge. It's on the farm here, so you'll see sheep, maybe some cattle. The view from the front is just fields and trees.
It sleeps six. There are three bedrooms and two bathrooms. One bathroom is on the ground floor. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well-equipped and finished to a good standard. Everything is fairly new.
The main living area is open plan. There's a wood burner for cooler evenings. Afterwards, you can use the hot tub on the patio. It's private, but not totally hidden from the farm lane.
The stairs are a spiral staircase. They're fine, but you need to be careful on them.
The pub is about a five minute walk down the road. They do meals. The farm lane itself is quiet for walking, and you can get down to the river. For a shop or a restaurant, you'd need to drive to Builth Wells, about five miles.
It's a good spot if you're going to the Royal Welsh Showground, that's only ten minutes away by car. Llandrindod Wells is about seven miles. The Elan Valley dams are worth seeing, that's around a twenty minute drive towards Rhayader.
For facilities: there's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. No pets allowed. There's bike storage if you bring cycles.
