Wye Lodge

Wye Lodge is a wooden lodge near Aberedw in Powys. It's on a campsite, right by the River Wye. It's detached so it's just you. The garden area is yours to use.

It sleeps four people. Two bedrooms and each one has its own shower room, which is handy. It has a 4 Star rating.

The main thing here is the river. You have fishing rights on this stretch of the Wye for salmon, trout, and coarse fishing. If you bring your own canoe or kayak, you can get onto the water from here too. You can hear the river from the lodge.

It's on the National Cycle Network and there are good lanes and hills for mountain biking. Plenty of walks start right from the door. Builth Wells is about four miles away. It has shops, places to eat, a cinema, and a swimming pool.

Within about half an hour's drive, you've got the Brecon Beacons National Park. The Elan Valley is also half an hour away, good for walking, cycling, and wildlife. You can often see red kites there.

For facilities, it has a dishwasher, TV, WiFi, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. One well-behaved dog is welcome.

If you're planning trips, these sites are useful: Brecon Beacons National Park and the Elan Valley Trust.
