Bridge End Cottage
Bridge End Cottage is in Rhulen. It's a small place, just a few houses really. The cottage is detached, which means you won't have anyone next door. It's quiet.
It sleeps four, or five if you use the extra single bed in one of the bedrooms. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 3 Star rating. It's comfortable and clean. The open plan living area has a wood burner. It heats the place up well. There's Wi-Fi now.
The garden is enclosed. It's a good size. You can let dogs out there safely. The view from the garden is over the moorland. You can walk straight up onto the hills from the back.
Builth Wells is about nine miles away. They've got shops and the Royal Welsh Showground. Hay-on-Wye is ten miles the other way. It's all bookshops and cafes. The festival is in May.
You're right on the edge of proper walking country. The Brecon Beacons are about half an hour's drive. Pen-y-Fan is there if you want a big hike. For local information, the Brecon Beacons National Park site is useful. So is Visit Wales for planning.
Facilities: there's a washing machine, a dishwasher, parking, and the bedding and towels are included. You can bring up to two dogs.
