Bridge End Cottage
Bridge End Cottage is in Rhulen, which is a small village. It’s detached, so there’s no one attached on either side. The village is quiet. You get the peace of the moors without being totally cut off.
It sleeps four, sometimes five. Two bedrooms, one bathroom. It’s a 3 Star cottage, so it’s clean and comfortable, but not brand new. There’s a wood burner. It works well.
The garden is decent sized and enclosed. It’s good if you’ve got dogs.
Builth Wells is about twenty minutes away by car. That’s where you’ll find the main shops and the Royal Welsh Showground. Hay-on-Wye is a bit further, maybe half an hour. It’s all bookshops and cafes.
The Brecon Beacons National Park is maybe forty minutes. That’s where Pen-y-Fan is if you wanted a proper hike. The moorland right here is good for walking too, straight from the door.
For facilities: there’s parking, a washing machine, a dishwasher, bedding is supplied, and there’s WiFi now. You can bring two dogs.
