Bluebell Lodge is on our farm near Crossway. It's a single-storey lodge, so everything's on one level. You get that to yourselves, it's detached. The view from the deck is over our fields and the hills. It's a working farm, so you'll see sheep and cattle about.
It sleeps four. Two bedrooms, both with their own bathrooms. It's a 5 Star place, which means it's well-equipped and finished to a good standard. There's underfloor heating and a wood burner for cooler nights.
The main room has big folding doors that open right onto the deck. The deck faces south, so you get the sun. There's a private hot tub out there.
We're quite remote. The nearest pub is about two miles away. The shop is four miles, so it's best to come with your supplies. You're on a quiet lane, good for walking straight from the door.
For a day out, the Brecon Beacons National Park is on the doorstep. The Elan Valley reservoirs are about a 30 minute drive, the scenery is dramatic. Rhayader has the red kite feeding centre, which is worth seeing. Brecon town is roughly 20 minutes by car.
It has the things you'd expect: WiFi, a TV, a dishwasher and washing machine. All bedding and towels are included. There's parking right outside. The whole place is wheelchair accessible, no steps.
We have another lodge called Sweet Meadow next door. You can book both together if you're a larger group.
