Ash Lodge
Ash Lodge is on our farm in Nantmel. It's one of two lodges here, but it's detached. You get your own garden, it's fully enclosed. There's a veranda with a swing chair and a private hot tub. The views are over fields.
It sleeps six, in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means it's well equipped and modern. It has an air conditioning unit that also heats. The entrance and main living area are all on one level.
You can walk straight from the door onto the farm tracks and nature trails. Rhayader town is about four miles away for shops and a pub.
The Elan Valley is the big draw, it's only five miles. The reservoirs and dams are spectacular. Good for walking, cycling, fishing. The Elan Valley Trust site has maps and event info. There's also a red kite feeding station nearby, and you can hire cycles.
Within a half hour drive you can get to the coast at Aberystwyth. Ynyslas sand dunes and Cardigan Bay are out that way. If you're into stargazing, it's very dark here.
Inside, it's open plan. There's a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. We can provide a cot and highchair. There's an electric vehicle charger and parking right outside. The entrance is wheelchair accessible and there are grab rails in the bathroom.
