Ash Lodge
Ash Lodge is one of two lodges here on our family farm near Nantmel. It's about four miles from Rhayader.
It sleeps six people in three bedrooms. There's one bathroom. It's got a 5 Star rating, which means everything is in good order and it's well equipped. Because it's a modern lodge, it's all on one level. There's no stairs. The doorways are wide and there are grab rails in the bathroom.
It's detached and you get your own enclosed garden. There's a private hot tub there. You can walk straight out from the lodge onto the farm tracks and nature trails.
Rhayader is the nearest town, four miles away. There's shops and a pub there. The big thing here is the Elan Valley. It's about five miles away. Good for walks, cycling, fishing, and birdwatching. You'll see red kites everywhere. There's a red kite feeding station nearby too. The Ynyslas coastal reserve and Cardigan Bay are about an hour's drive if you fancy the sea.
For facilities: it's got a dishwasher, washing machine, WiFi, and parking right outside. There's an electric vehicle charger. We provide bedding and towels. A cot and highchair are here if you need them. No pets, sorry.
