This is Sunflower. It's a shepherd's hut in St Harmon, near Rhayader. It's for two people.
It's detached, so you're on your own. There's a bedroom and a shower room, all in one open plan space. It feels well put together. The garden is enclosed, which is good if you bring a dog. There's a private hot tub out there.
The location is very quiet and dark. You can see a lot of stars at night.
You can walk to the Gilfach Nature Reserve from here. It's got woods and waterfalls. Rhayader is a few minutes drive. It's a small town with shops and places to eat.
The main thing to do around here is go to the Elan Valley. It's about a ten minute drive. The scenery is really good, with big dams and reservoirs. Good for walking or driving through. The Red Kite feeding centre is nearby too, near Llandrindod Wells.
Further out, you've got Llandrindod Wells itself, which is a spa town. Builth Wells is about half an hour away, where the Royal Welsh Show is. For a bigger day out, the Brecon Beacons are about an hour's drive.
The hut has WiFi, TV, and parking. Bedding and towels are included. You can bring one dog.
