The lodge is called Daisy. It's a detached lodge near St Harmon in Mid Wales. Sleeps four in two bedrooms, one bathroom. It's got a 4 Star rating.
It's got its own enclosed garden and a private hot tub. The layout is all on the ground floor. Everything is open plan inside. There's a dishwasher and WiFi. Bedding and towels are included. Parking is right there.
We accept up to two dogs. There are a couple of other lodges on site but it feels private.
The location is quiet and rural. You can walk to the Gilfach Nature Reserve from the door. It's got woods and a river with waterfalls.
Rhayader is the closest town, about a ten minute drive. It's a small market town with shops, cafes, and places to eat. The Elan Valley is a main attraction, it's about a 15 minute drive. The scenery is really good up there, with big dams and reservoirs. Good for walking or cycling. There's also a red kite feeding station nearby.
If you want to go a bit further, Llandrindod Wells is a spa town about half an hour away. Builth Wells is roughly the same, where the Royal Welsh Showground is. The Brecon Beacons are about an hour's drive for a bigger day out.
