Tulip
Tulip is a shepherd's hut in St Harmon. It's for two people. It's got one bedroom with a double bed and a shower room.
It's detached. There's a private, enclosed garden for you to use. The hot tub is in there.
The hut itself is one open space. It's small and cosy. You get heating, WiFi, and a TV. All the bedding and towels are included. There's parking right next to it.
The Gilfach Nature Reserve starts at the end of the lane. You can walk straight into it. It's got woodland and waterfalls.
Rhayader is the nearest town, about four miles away. It has supermarkets, places to eat, and shops. The main thing here is the Elan Valley. It's about a fifteen minute drive. The scenery is really good. There are dams, reservoirs, and loads of walking and cycling tracks. It's managed by Welsh Water, their website has maps and event details.
The Red Kite feeding station is near Rhayader too. You can see hundreds of them being fed in the afternoon. Builth Wells is about half an hour's drive. The Royal Welsh Showground is there. Llandrindod Wells is also around half an hour away, it's a spa town with a golf course.
You can bring one well-behaved dog. There's a charge for that.
