Primrose is in St Harmon in Powys. It's a two-bedroom cottage that sleeps four. It has a 4 Star rating, which means it's comfortable and well-equipped.
The cottage has one bathroom. Everything is on the ground floor, so no stairs. There's an enclosed garden with a patio and a private hot tub. Parking is on site.
You can bring up to two dogs. Bedding and towels are included. There's a dishwasher, WiFi, and a TV.
Gilfach Nature Reserve is a short walk from the door. It's moorland and woodland with rivers and waterfalls. Rhayader, the nearest town, is a few minutes' drive away. It's a handy market town with shops, cafes, and places to eat.
The main thing to do here is go to the Elan Valley. It's about ten minutes away. It's a series of Victorian dams and reservoirs with forests and waterfalls. The scenery is very good. It's popular for walking, cycling, and driving through.
You can also go to the Red Kite feeding centre near Rhayader. They feed the birds and sometimes have sheepdog demonstrations. Llandrindod Wells, a spa town, is about a twenty-minute drive. It has a golf course. Builth Wells is a bit further, about half an hour. That's where the Royal Welsh Showground is.
The Brecon Beacons National Park is about an hour's drive south if you want a bigger day out.
