Callow

Callow is a pod on a glamping site at Eastridge Farm in Habberley. It's not a cottage, it's more like a small, insulated wooden cabin. It sleeps three but it's really one main bedroom with a mezzanine above it. The bathroom is en-suite. You get bedding and towels.

The site itself is quiet. There are other pods but they're spaced out. You can sit outside your pod and look at the fields and woods.

The pub, The Habberley Arms, is just a few minutes' walk up the lane. It does good food. For a bigger shop, you drive five minutes to Pontesbury village.

The main point is the walking. You're right in the Shropshire Hills. You can step out of the pod and be on a footpath. The Long Mynd and the Stiperstones are straight out the door. It's good for mountain biking too if you bring your bike.

If you want a day out, Shrewsbury is about half an hour by car. It's got a proper town centre, the castle, and the river. Further afield, you've got Ironbridge, which is a UNESCO site, and Ludlow, which is famous for food. Both are a drive, but doable.

Facilities are what you'd expect for glamping. There's electric heating, a TV, a shower, and parking right by the pod. No pets.
