The Longmynd
The Longmynd is a pod on a glamping site near Habberley. It's on a working farm. The site is big, so you're not on top of the other guests. You get your own patio area with a table and chairs.
It's for two people. One bedroom, one ensuite shower room. It's got a 4 Star rating, so it's comfortable and well kept. The bed is made up for you with towels included.
There's a pub about four minutes walk down the lane. It's a proper local, serves food. The village of Pontesbury is five minutes drive for a shop, cafes, and takeaways.
You're right in the Shropshire Hills here. The site has its own woodland walks. There are loads of footpaths and bridleways straight from the gate if you want to walk or go mountain biking. The Long Mynd itself is just there.
Shrewsbury is about half an hour's drive. It's a nice old town with the river, the castle, and plenty of places to eat. Church Stretton is closer, maybe fifteen minutes, which is a good base for walking.
In the pod you've got heating and electricity included, a shower, and parking right outside. No pets.
