Shippon Cottage

Shippon Cottage is in Plealey. It’s a bungalow, so everything’s on one level. It’s part of a small courtyard of places. You get your own patio and lawn.

It sleeps five, in three bedrooms. There’s one bathroom with a shower. It’s got a 4 Star rating. The building is old, from around 1600, so the rooms aren’t massive and the walls are thick. It’s clean and comfortable.

You can bring one dog.

There’s a games room in a separate building. It has a pool table and table tennis.

The cottage is set back from the road, so it’s quiet. You can walk straight out into the fields from the garden gate. A local pub is about a mile and a half away.

Shrewsbury is six miles. It’s a proper town with shops and places to eat. The River Severn runs through it.

For walks, you’re close to the Long Mynd and the Stiperstones. It’s good walking country. Carding Mill Valley and the Long Mynd is National Trust. The Offa’s Dyke Path isn’t far either.

Ironbridge Gorge is about a 25 minute drive. The museums there are good if you like industrial history. Ludlow is maybe 40 minutes. It has a castle and a market and is known for food.

Things here: wifi, washing machine, parking right outside. Bedding and towels are included. We provide a cot and highchair if you need them. The place gets decorated for Christmas if you’re booking then.
