This is the Sunset Holiday Pod, in Snailbeach. It's one of two identical pods up a farm track on our land. The track is fine for normal cars, just a bit bumpy.
It's a 4 Star glamping pod. That means it's clean and well-equipped, but it's compact. It sleeps two, one bedroom. The bathroom is en-suite. Everything is open plan inside.
The main thing is the view. You've got your own decking looking right out over the valley. It faces west, so you get the sunsets. There's a table and chairs out there.
Inside, there's a small kitchenette with a two-ring hob, microwave and fridge. The bed is a double. There's a two-seater sofa and a Smart TV. The WiFi is okay for browsing.
You can bring one dog. We ask that you keep it on a lead around the farm animals.
You're on the edge of the Shropshire Hills. The Stiperstones ridge is right there for walking, and the old Snailbeach Lead Mine site is at the bottom of the hill. It's very quiet.
The nearest pub with food is The Crown and Sceptre in Minsterley, about two miles away. Pontesbury village is a bit further and has more choice.
Shrewsbury is about a twenty minute drive. It's a nice market town with the river, the castle, and a park called The Quarry. For wider planning, the Shropshire Hills website is good for maps and walks. The National Trust page for the Stiperstones has useful information.
Bedding and towels are included. Parking is right next to the pod.
